Knice Knitshop

So me and mum were driving around Lee (Lewisham) and behold I saw The Knitshop! I instantly left my mother in my dust as I quickly powerwalk towards this knitshop I never saw before. I love craft and one thing I’ve always wanted to do was knit and they have knitting workshops on Fridays (and Saturdays on the holidays but check with them for availability).  Here’s what the shop looks like….(like a big woollen heart!).

Looks like raw wool, possibly untread...can't be sure but all I know is that I'll be using it!

So yesterday I took myself down to the workshop (an hour late but don’t ask me why! It’s always when I want to go somewhere, that’s when things go cray but when It’s the opposite then behold 3 buses at once!) and good golly in a trolley the class was full! So many people attended to the class which I’m not surprised coz “Duh! knitting is this seasons craft cool lol”, I parked my tardy booty on the seat to begin after the sweet teach Marcia (I hope that’s her name…i’ll correct myself later) introduced me to the rest of the craft comers and they were all so friendly and welcoming (some come to The Knitshop other than a Friday that’s how cool it is). They even had tea with all the trimmings, it was too cute just like I pictured in my head!

And so I began to (try) knit, a simple one to start off with as crotchet would have me there all day long and I can’t knit myself a square let alone a blanket!

Me knitting as if I have two left hands.

Don't ask how I made a hole in it.

I had to refresh my memory of the mistake I made on Berroco Design Studio: Ask Amanda;

I love The Knitshop workshop and now when I return I’ll be able to knit with a little more confidence coz now I’m knitting at home with giant beasts of a knit stick which I “borrowed” six years ago from a teacher. I urge you to go and try it out and have fun and turn up on time (giggle) for fuzzy fun!

There’s a website too (which do retail for UK and Abroad):

And this is where to find it!:

Boutique Outlet:
The knitshop.co.uk Boutique Outlet is located on 326 Lee High Road, Lee Green (Lewisham) London, SE13 5PJ (South East London).

Soon i’ll be as good as NikkiM http://buzyday.com/  (Whispers) I already love her…

Happy knitting!
